Important news from Seddon Smith

In reviewing the way forward to aid with the ongoing development of the practice, we have joined forces with Haines Watts, part of a group of accountants specialising in similar work to ourselves.   Haines Watts have been operating successfully in High Wycombe for over 30 years, providing a partner led accounting, tax and business advisory service to owner managed businesses.  Since 2015, Haines Watts has also had a presence in Hertfordshire following two mergers in Berkhamsted.  Haines Watts are now the largest provider of accounting and tax services to SME’s in the UK.

As of 9th February 2017, we merged to become Haines Watts Aylesbury.

However, please be assured that little will change, apart from our name, as the team will remain exactly the same and will continue in their current roles based here in the same office.  We will continue to help you as we have done in the past at the same agreed levels of pricing.

We will also have the advantage of help from Shaun Brownsmith, one of the partners in Berkhamsted, as he lives in Aylesbury.  In addition, we will have access to the resources of both the High Wycombe and Berkhamsted offices, with staff numbers totalling in excess of 50 people, should these be required. We are sure that we will benefit from the extra resources in specialist areas such as fund raising, technical accounts back up, tax planning and consultancy, VAT, and corporate finance.

We will be in touch with as many of you as possible over the next few weeks to offer re-assurances that very little is going to change.  If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to call – the same number and of course the same address.
